Proficiency in Photoshop 4:02 AM

This is my day map comp, using 5 photos to tell a story that I did on a day. It was the day that I made paper yukata - a casual form of kimono (Japanese traditional clothing) for green fashion show in International Dinner. First, I saw a flyer on the bulletin board, and decided to sign up for it. My budget was tight, just 3 dollars for buying stuff. I bought one blue table cover sheet and 2 purple and pink tissue paper. The table cover was used for the yukata. And, as you can see, I was cutting and making cherry blossom flowers. My concept is a plain yukata will become a pretty one. I put 6 little photos around my sister to say about the process for making the yukata. To emphasize the making process, I adjusted the big photo into black and white. After 10 hours, finally, she became a Japanese girl.

I chose this comp for the Photoshop proficiency because it was the most complicated one compared to the others. I used pen tool to cut my sister out of the original photo, and then made it black&white. I was the first time for me to use the pen tool in photoshop. The vector tool was not like the one in Illustrator. So it took me about 20 or a little bit more to figure out how to use it. Next, I played with the other photos by using the transform tool such as distort, perspective, etc. I used the brush tool to color the tissue paper and the tittle "Green Fashion"
We don't really use Photoshop much compared to Indesign and Illustrator. I hope I can learn more about it some day
